Alzheimers Disease

What is Alzheimers Disease?

Alzheimer’s disease is a type of dementia that gets worse over time and impacts memory, thinking, and behavior. It’s the main reason why older people get dementia. People with this disease may have trouble with everyday jobs, become confused, and experience mental changes as the disease gets worse. There is no fix for Alzheimer’s yet, but medicines and support services can help people with the disease and their caretakers deal with their symptoms and live better lives.
